APACC - Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business networking event, APACC SAE East - West Business Connection, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the MGM Grand. The title sponsor is General Motor Corporation, and the event sponsors are Detroit International Auto Salon and Multitech Industries Inc. The guest speaker is Mr. Bo Andersson, GM Group Vice President, Global Purchasing & Supply Chain.

The event serves to introduce Michigan–based companies to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Asian delegates with the objective of facilitating business discussions and exploring growth opportunities. The invited delegations include: China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam. The evening begins with a networking reception and buffet dinner followed by a match making (business to business) roundtable dialogue with major U.S. OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 companies, Asian delegates and APACC members.
