Win-Win Michigan: Embracing U.S. & Asia Business Growth in 2011

APACC hosted a forum on the global prospective of U.S. and Michigan's economy and the important role Asian trade plays to enhance business growth in Michigan. The event took place on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Summit on the Park in Canton, MI. This event is in partnership with Comerica Bank, Charter Township of Canton, and Miller Canfield.

Speakers were: The Honorable Robert D. Hormats, Under Secretary for the Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State who shared his prospective on strategies to support investments with Asia and to assist U.S. companies in their global expansion; Dana Johnson, Comerica Bank's Senior Vice President and Chief Economist who gave an Economic forecast of Michigan; Diana Mao, Vice President, SG Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of SG Automotive Co., Ltd.; and Thomas G. Appleman, Leader of Miller Canfield's China Team.
